I'm at the kennel...

Amigos, les cuento que estoy en el kennel desde casi una semana, hoy día pedí permiso para contarles ya que me había olvidado. Estaré aquí en el kennel hasta el 30 de julio. Mis masters han viajado a Perú.

Friends, I want to tell you that I'm in the kennel since almost a week ago. I asked permission to tell you because I forget to tell you. I'll stay here in the kennel until July 30. My masters are in Peru.
I want to wish a Happy Birthday in advance to my firends Maggie, Lenny, and Snickers aloso to everybody whos b-day is in July.

I’m home

I just came back from the kennel, as soon as I saw my master I gave him lots of kisses and licks; them we went home and played fetch for a while. My master went to pick up the mail and what a surprise he found! I got a box full of treats and a squeaky bone from Gaia the Airedale….thanks Gaia!
I need time to visit you guys…

Acabo de regresar del kennel, y tan pronto como vi mi master le di un montón de besos y lametones, luego nos fuimos a casa a jugar por un tiempo. Mi master fue a recoger el correo y que gran sorpresa encontró! Había un paquete lleno de tretas y hasta un squeaky bone para mi de Gaia the Airedale….gracias Gaia!
Necesito tiempo para visitarlos amigos…

Back to the kennel

Amigos, mi master se fue a Perú y me dejó en el kennel, así que no puedo escribir hasta la primera semana de agosto... Lenny gracias por el premio Arte-y-Pico, Rene yo te responderé tan llegue a casa. En el camino al kennel yo le dicte a mi master este post, lo tengo muy bien entrenado.

Friends, my master went to Peru and left me at the kennel, so I can not write until the first week of August... Lenny thanks for the Arte-y-Pico Award and Rene I will respond you as soon as I get home. On my way to the kennel I told my master what to write today, I have trained him very well.

I'm home again! Did you miss me?

Well, I’m home again…from the kennel. I'd been away from home for two weeks! My master is back from his trip to the Amazon. Thank you to all who took the time visits me…Thanks for all your comments. I'll visit your blogs this weekend.

Bueno, regrese a casa nuevamente…del kennel. He estado fuera de casa por 2 semanas. Mi master regreso de su viaje por el Amazonas. Gracias a todos ustedes por visitarme…gracias por todos sus comentarios. Los visitare este fin de semana.

Siouxsie Girasol Sioux

I asked myself what kind of costume I want to dress for Halloween. I was thinking and thinking and I was like you know what? I want to dress up like Siouxsie Sioux form Siouxsie and the Banshees! I want my make-up like Siouxsie Sioux but my master said that I couldn't use it. So, I decided that I can do that without having to use make-up…thanks to Photoshop!
Anyway, I found something to wear… something to wear around my head. Personally, I don’t think it’s kind of hot but is something… a cat ears costume!
My master is leaving tomorrow night for Peru to visit my mom for 13 days. Mom is still doing some research in the Amazon. They are going in a voyage between Iquitos (Peru) and Leticia (Colombia). I bark him that I want to go but he said not this time so I said you know what? Forget it. I just don’t like humid weather and mosquitoes!
I made a video for Halloween. I will put it tomorrow before I go to the kennel.

Me he preguntando que clase de disfraz quiero para Halloween. He pensado y pensado y saben que? Quiero vestirme como Siouxie Sioux del grupo Siouxie and the Banshees! Yo quiero maquillarme como ella pero mi master dijo que no puedo usar eso. Entonces he decidido hacerlo sin usar maquillaje…gracias al Photoshop!
De todos modos encontré algo que vestir…algo que puedo usar alrededor de mi cabeza. Personalmente no creo que sea hot pero es algo…orejas de gato!
Mi master viajara mañana a Perú a visitar a mi mami por 13 días. Ella aun sigue haciendo sus investigaciones en el Amazonas. Ellos viajaran de Iquitos (Perú) hacia Leticia (Colombia) por el río Amazonas. Yo le ladre a el diciéndole que yo quiero ir pero me dijo que no. Yo le respondo que lo olvidara ya que no me gusta la humedad y los zancudos.
Hice un video para Halloween. Lo pondré mañana antes que vaya al kennel.

I’m back

Don´t worry, friends. I am finally home with my master. I also heard the news about the 8.0 earthquake in Peru while I was in the kennel, and I was very, very worried, but then I heard that my masters called to check on me and that they were OK.
They were in Trujillo, my birthplace, the second largest city in Peru; it is north of Lima, and the earthquake only felt like a long tremor there that made people dizzy. But my family members in Lima were very scared by the earthquake and by the many aftershocks that have occurred since. And the towns south of Lima have been devastated. It is very sad because many people died (over500), and entire towns have been destroyed.
I wish I could have gone to help, like those special trained dogs that do such a great job during these types of disasters. When my master picked me up from the kennel, I gave him more kisses than usual because I was happy he was home safe and sound.

No se preocupen amigos. Ya estoy en casa con mi master. Yo tambien escuche las noticias sobre el terremotode de 8.0 grados en Peru mientras estaba en el kennel, y estube muy, pero muy preocupada; pero luego oi que mis masters llamaron para ver como andaba y ellos estaban bien.
Ellos estuvieron en Trujillo, mi lugar de nacimiento, la segunda ciudad mas grande del Peru, que esta al norte de Lima y el terremoto solo se sintio como un fuerte temblor que hizo que la gente se maree. Miembros de mi familia en Lima estuvieron muy asustados por lo del terremoto y las replicas que seguian ocurriendo. Ciudades al sur de Lima han sido devastadas. Es muy triste mas de 500 personas han muerto y las ciudades han sido destrosadas.
Me gustaria ir a ayudar, como esos colegas caninos que han sido entrenados especialmente para ese trabajo y que lo hacen muy bien. Cuando mi master me recogio del kennel le he dado muchos besos, mas de lo normal por que yo estaba feliz de verlo y saber que estaba sano.

Friends, history repeats itself. The luggage has been in the room all weekend; my master is packing for his trip to Peru to visit my mommy master, his family, and friends. I wish I could go to, but there is a pet air travel ban during the summer months because of the heat.
I will go to the kennel. In reality, it is the veterinary clinic; there are some kennels there, it's close to home, and everyone there already knows me. They take good care of me.
I won't be able to write from there, though sometimes they take me to the reception area where I greet the other pets that arrive for their appointments (my reward for good behavior) and then I can use the computer, but I don't want to take advantage of that.
Like my master, I also prepare for my trip:
Food
Snacks
Vitamins
Bowl
Ball
Ipaw
Collar with tags
And a shirt with my master's smell.

Amigos, la historia se repite, la maleta ha estado todo el fin de semana en la habitación, mi master esta empacando para su viaje a Perú, para visitar a mi mami, su familia, y sus amigos. Yo también quisiera ir, pero no dejan viajar a las mascotas en las aerolíneas durante los mese de verano por el calor.
Yo iré al kennel, en realidad es la clínica de mi veterinario que hay algunos kennels ahí y esta cerca de casa. Ahí ya me conocen y me cuidan bien.
No podré escribir desde ahí a pesar de que algunas veces me llevan a la recepción donde saludo a las otras mascotas que llegan para sus citas (es mi premio por buen comportamiento) y podría usar la pc, pero no quiero tomar ventaja de eso.
Así como mi master se prepara yo también lo hago:

Triste

Estoy triste.
Hoy día escuche que en más o menos 10 días mi mama viajará a Perú por sus estudios. Por un momento pensé que es normal ya que ellos viajan casi cada año, pero esta vez ella viajara y estará por 16 meses, sí 16 meses! Mi papá se quedara conmigo aquí pero yo extrañaré a mi mamá mucho.
Mi mamá me ha prometido que mi master me llevará al parque siempre; dudo que sea siempre, y se que no será lo mismo sin ella.
Luego en agosto mi master se va a Perú también y me quedaré en el kennel por 2 semanas. Por un momento quise salir corriendo ladrando “noooo”, pero me di cuenta que la puerta estaba cerrada. En fin, tengo que aprovechar estos días al máximo con ella.

I am sad.
Today I heard that in about 10 days my mom will travel to Peru for her studies. For a moment, I thought that’s normal, since they travel almost every year, but this time she will travel and be there for 16 months, yeah, 16 months! My dad will stay with me here but I will miss my mom very much.
My mom has promised me that my daddy master will always take me to the park; I doubt it will be always, and it will not be the same without her.
Then in August my master goes to Peru too, and I will stay in the kennel for 2 weeks. For a moment, I wanted to run out barking “noooo”, but I realized that the door was closed. In end I have to take advantage of these days with her to the maximum.

I’m back!

Estoy de regreso!
Mis amos me dejaron en el kennel el jueves por la noche (ellos viajaron hacia Atlanta) y me recogieron ayer, por eso es que no los he respondido.
Pero aquí estoy.

I’m back!
My masters left me at the kennel on Thursday night (they went to Altanta) and they pick me up yesterday so that’s why I didn’t response to all of you.
But here I am.
Did you remember when I was a named cool dog site of the day, back in February 3rd?
Now my blog has been awarded Monthly Best Dog Site for February 2007!
